  2. Reminds me of Oregon which did not have a single case of a voter who had died being expunged from its voter rolls between 2006 and 2008. Great draw for the state. No registered voter dies here.

  3. One party wants to subvert the vote. The other party just wants those people who have a right to vote to be able to have their votes counted. Unless Republicans start figuring out how to juice the elections there will be no real effort to ensure that the election process will be representative of the people voting. This is insanity.

  4. Think yourselves lucky boys. I live in a state that has maybe four Republicans and me (registered Independent). You should hear the snickers when I head off to the polls.

  5. But Hawaii did have Thomas Magnum, Astrid. And a lot of those folks at those military bases share your views. They just invalidate their votes come election time based on some technicality, like late mail delivery.

  6. Magnum was cool. In younger days I used to wear a Detroit Tigers hat in homage to that show. I loved the fact that he had these great friends that would gripe and grumble as we love to do, but when the chips were down they were all in.

  7. We're gonna have to throw in with Mitt now and pray to the Holy Spirit that Mitt receive the common sense to reject global warming fraud and those EPA over-reaches that pull the plug on our economy over silliness like "poisonous" CO2.
Or Ann has to start hitting Mitt in the back of his head like Gibbs does with Tony DiNozzo. Either way.

  8. I understand what you are saying, but he is the candidate. He has yet to ask me for my vote. It is up to him to reach out and engender support. I'm ready to hear whatever appeal he may offer.

  9. You might actually hear him tell you what he stands for and what he is planning to do, now that Santorum is out of the race. When we had our primary in Illinois, he bombarded me with more than a dozen robo-calls a day telling me some distorted version of what Santorum had said or did. They usually started out with some chap saying "I just learned that Rick Santorum..." then telling me how he voted seven years ago. You "just" learned that? You should really try to keep up.
