He made his announcement from Liberty Park, the same location where president Ronald Reagan kicked off his campaign after winning the republican primary in 1980. Any hopes that he would carry the Reagan mantle were soon dashed as Mr. Huntsman opened his mouth and began to speak of sitting president Barack Obama:
“He and I have a difference of opinion on how to help a country we both love,” Mr. Huntsman said of Mr. Obama. “But the question each of us wants the voters to answer is who will be the better president, not who’s the better American.”Wow, now that's fire in the belly!
If all Mr. Huntsman has to offer is different shades of grey, then no sense in making his announcement at Liberty Park. If he wants to take on the Reagan mantle, he will first have to start thinking like Reagan, and that is unlikely, as Ronald Reagan had no trouble calling out the left when their policies were wrong headed and harmful to this nation, as he did in speaking of then sitting president Jimmy Carter. We're not looking for mean, we are looking for tough, someone who isn't afraid to call it like it is.
The fact is it is unfair to the American people to fail to do so.

at Utah's Board of Regents.
Absolutely, but for such a non-contender, why all the excitement on the part of the media? Well, I guess that one answers itself, really.
