Let My People Go

President Obama intends to bury the nation in debt, condemning the American people to a life of servitude.

And he has no intention of letting any one of you go.

  1. August 2nd looms, and thus far the conservatives in the House have not budged. Boehner's secret agreement was not supported. Attempts by Boehner to strong arm them failed. Bribing them with perks failed. Threats that they would not be supported for re-election failed, all to the dismay of the "experts" in the media. It will be interesting to see what happens next. These are perilous times. I suspect that if the secret deals that Boehner worked with Reid and Obama in the back rooms wont fly, Obama will assume powers he does not have and throw the country into a constitutional crisis.

    Scary times indeed.

  2. Yet, from what little bit I've, Allan West has turned out to be a disappointment.

  3. They've targeted him to be taken out - that's why all the outrageous accusations from Debbie Wasserman Schultz, followed by the shrinking violet faux outrage when he responded. A well spoken, conservative from an ethnic minority, for some reason they go for the kill. Look at the Clarence Thomas confirmation versus Antonin Scalia. Look at Miguel Estrada. It's outrageous and disgusting, but it is how it is. Meanwhile, nary a flutter when a wise Latina was put up. I guess it's just two sets of rules up there.

I admit West's support for Boehner was a bit of a surprise, but give him some time. I'm not ready to shoot the wounded.

  4. From what I've read, he's not just supporting Boehner's surrender to the Dems, he's also bad-mouthing the people who supported him.

  5. Consider this: The Laura Ingraham Show - Allen West slams tea party "schizophrenia"

Boehner's "plan" is just as vacuous -- and just as ultimately dangerous -- as Pelosi's and Reid's.

We've spent the last 50 or 60 years "being thankful for what we can get" -- and calling that "victory" -- and thus moving incrementally ever closer to the edge of the cliff. Well, the cliff-edge is here, now; if we don't stop and reverse track, we will go over the edge.

  6. There is a saying, "Don't ascribe to malevolent intent that which can be explained by incompetence". That’s generally a good outlook … yet, there comes a point when the distinction is pointless, for the result is malevolent regardless of intent.

Now, for sure, most Dems and RINOs don’t intend to destroy the USA (though, the leftists for whom they act as beards do), but destruction of the USA is the inescapable effect of their folly.
