How Does She Do That?!

I wish I could write like April Gavaza.

"Oddly enough, I picked up the most current issue of Elle magazine, (despite the fact that the utterly bland Kristen Stewart was staring at me with her lifeless fish eyes from the cover), and there in its pages was a story on the father’s right to choose."

Light, airy, fun, cutting, incisive... wow!

And how do you get away with titling a post Cleavage? She pulls it off without a hitch. I wonder if she realizes the kind of traffic she is going to get trolling around with that title? Probably... and will snap them right out of their glandular stupor and get them to start appreciating a beautiful woman that is intelligent, fun and challenging. I think I'm loving it. Definitely.

She's no one act. She's the whole ice show.

  1. Okay, she followed Cleavage with Sex.

    It's a nice follow-up, but....

If you thought some distracted characters would drift by for a quick peak at Cleavage, what do you suppose will result when she starts throwing the 'S' word out there?

    : )

  2. She needs a story about birds, to pair up with the bee-truck post.

In the meantime, I'm very curious to see how she responds to the new kid. Whom I think might have one of those pesky space-ticks. (I'm getting all caught up on my "regular assignments".)

  3. And I'm quoting you here:

    a quick peak at Cleavage

Again with the choice of words. :)

Wasn't there a rule for living in a Seinfeld episode... Yes:

"Looking at a cleavage is like looking at the sun. You don't stare at it. It's too risky. You get a sense of it and then you look away."

Hmm. If I keep at it, maybe I can master April's system of clearing out the useless verbiage and free up some space for critical processing.

  4. Yeah...remember what you told me, though, Nick.

    (lol)

Oh, and a little touch off-topic here from April's radiant glory:

I plan on starting a forum type discussion on a couple of items. Here's a sneak peek at ONE of them.

Dig as you need, and recruit the other guys and gals from April's if the fancy hits you. This is some serious poop of late:

  7. "In other words, when you try to buy a policy through an exchange, or seek a subsidy, or receive any of the other supposed benefits, you will be told 'show me your papers.'

    Just like in Arizona now."

Wakes, hypocrisy in politics isn't uncommon, but hypocrisy for the Democrats?

    Mother's milk.
